4th of July Sensory Bin

About a week ago I made a 4th of July Sensory Bin. It's Cookie Monsters first sensory bin, and I thought it would be a fun one to start with.
Everything out of this bin was bought in the Target $1 section, except for the jeweled stones, they were bought at Michaels.
I picked up flags, pencils, window clings (which Cookie Monster adores), spiky balls, stickers, tatoos, bead necklaces, and a cute ice cream bowl.
To say he loved it doesn't even cover it, not even by half!
He put the beaded necklaces all around his neck, and immediately started sorting things.
He was putting his red jeweled stars into the ice cream bowl saying "red star" as he put them in. I'm so proud of this little boy, he has really picked up on his colors and shapes quickly.
He then proceeded to stick all of the window clings onto my arm. He loves to stick them onto my legs, my arms, my neck, and onto the t.v. stand. It's pretty funny watching him place them all over the house.
I bought a few extra things to add into it, an star ice cube silicone tray, another bucket to sort into, and some big spoons. Needless to say his first sensory bin was a complete success.
